The Day I Found My Soulmate
So usually when I am at school I suffer the longing for the inviting treasures of a thrift store or antique shop. But something told me Saturday to stop moping around and go see what's out there besides the overpriced Goodwill 15 minutes away. So as I ventured into the historic town that is near my school to take some photos to lighten up my day, while I was scoping out picturesque spots to get my supermodel on, I looked to my left and what was before an abandoned auto garage, was now a new little adorable antique shop. So I decided what the hell, why not? It didn't look like much on the outside but when I walked in it was treasure filled dream. There were figurines, paintings, furniture, collectibles, vintage jewelry, and mink coats! So as I'm browsing the jewelry I see this mannequin with the sickest mink I have ever seen! It was structured as a peacoat with big gold gem buttons. I had found my soulmate on a lonely Saturday. It was my size, in GREAT condition, and I couldn't bring myself to take it off. After being greeted by two adorable ladies who worked at this little antique shop, they soon informed me that the mink was from Germany and that the beige silk on the inside was hand sewn. I melted and quickly asked what I could do to obtain this mink, they let me put it on layaway and today I picked up my new baby. Say hello to Lola!
